McBride Glacier snaked its way down from the mountains and in the process spawned a thousand huge pieces of ice that tossed and turned on the tide. A crash of thunder announced another imminent arrival and the spaces between the bergs shifted, becoming a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of intense blues and blacks. We had arrived in a different world. |
