Caption : | This little crevasse is full of water. In the bottom of the crevasse are little pockets where bits of gravel and sand accumulate. Crevasses near moraines can become completely filled with sand, gravel and rocks. With time the glacier surface melts until accumulated pockets of gravel rest on the newly exposed surface of the glacier. |
