Caption : Salmon in a can. Can't say I've purchased a whole lot of it, ever. But at one time canning was the primary way Alaskan salmon made it to market. The old cannery at Icy Strait Point in Hoonah is now a museum, Tlingit cultural center and shopping complex dedicated to the history of fish canning and presenting the past and present Tlingit way of life.
